Scenic Solitude

The cabin was gorgeous so was the scenery everything that my family needed was there towels linens toiletries everything but food pretty much was provided. The pond was well maintained but could use a restocking. All in all I was very pleased and will be booking again.

We chose this cabin for my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary. There was enough room for the 5 of us and our doggie. We loved every moment from the space, the hot tub, the sounds of nature, the pond, everything was for sure a 10/10. My only concern was the door lock when we were leaving, it was a little stressful but otherwise I would highly recommend and we will definitely book again!! Also, the staff was readily available for any and all issues!

It was a nice sized cabin so that everyone could be together or separate as they chose. The kitchen was spacious and the dining table was centrally located and big enough for a large group.

The cabin was beautiful, just like the pictures online. It was clean, plenty of towels and toiletry items. When we needed help with extra bedding for the futon, book hocking staff came out right away. And that fact that we could bring our doggies was priceless! The lot was gorgeous, just what our family needed to unwind, unplug, and have bonding time! Our favorite memories at the property were having dinners inside and outside, making s'mores over the fire, and fishing!

We tried connecting with Book Hocking but got super lucky and found someone driving by with the BH car. They were able to get doors open for us. The house was great. Everyone had a great time and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. Kids could hang out side, in the pool hall, fish, sit at the fire, and stay up late. Greatly appreciated the covered table outside for dinners. Not too far off of the highway, but far enough to be away. Thank you.

The house was amazing, beautifully decorated, private, and clean. The location was close to Hocking Hills State Park attractions, shopping, and places to eat. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and spending time down by the pond. And we got to bring Winston, my friend’s dog. Thank you so much, everyone loved the house and property!!

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless everything was. The cabin had everything we could possibly need, down to the tea tree spa-style toiletries, which were such a nice touch. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing, and the patios were the perfect spot to sit back, unwind, and take in the beautiful view of the pond, where the kids spent hours playing and fishing. It was also truly pet-friendly, which can be hard to find!
