Description

We’re a five minute drive from Lake Logan boat dock and beach where you can rent a canoe, fish (you’ll need a license), swim, or bird watch (eagles, loons, blue herons, kingfishers, etc.) You won’t need a four-wheel drive vehicle in winter, and you’ll have easy access to our finest local restaurants, wineries, shopping, and hospital.

“The Caves” (Old Man’s Cave, Conkle’s Hollow, Ash Cave, Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs, Cedar Falls, Whispering Cave and Hemlock Bridge), Lake Hope State Park, and Rock Bridge State Nature Preserve are a scenic ten to twenty-minute drive. You’ll experience hemlock-lined trails that wind through black-hand sandstone gorges and end in stunning waterfalls. Zip-lining, horseback riding, hunting, and the world’s only zip rail are also within a fifteen to twenty minute drive from MeadowLark Lodge. Warm up with a Seasonal Fireplace in the Fall or Winter! Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended. Free WiFi -may experience disruptions and outages

Perfect place for a get together!

Cabin was beautiful, beds were comfy, well stocked kitchen, it was clean, and easy to access both the state park and amenities in Logan. We had a great time!

Meadow Lark was the perfect place for our family

It is hard to find a place for 5 families and 10 kids. It was a great place to hang out together or find a room/place to read a book. It was very Clean which could be hard when 20 people have been there for 4 days. Grandparents, this is the place to bring the extend family.

Wonderful spacious cabin with all the amenities.

Meadowlark was great. There was plenty of space for my extended family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from OU. It’s a great alternative to the hotels in Athens. We loved the game area in the basement. Will definitely be back!

Great cabin and location!

The cabin itself and amenities were great. Would definitely come back. A couple notes: An upgrade to the grill is needed, the charcoal stack was completely rusted out and we needed to buy a new one to use. The floor of the grill was bent so that none of the coals were the same distance below the grates. The master bedroom shower leaked a little onto the basement bed when it was turned on. Other than those small points, this cabin was great!

One of THE best experiences I have had in Hocking Hills!!

I have stayed in many places over the years in Hocking Hills with large groups, and this house is at the top of that list. The cabin is spacious, extremely clean and easy to get to, only 2 miles from the freeway exit. The beds were heavenly, the most comfortable I have had in a cabin. Our group of 12 teachers had plenty of space and had an amazing time. We will definitely be back!

The house was fully stocked with anything we could need. The beds were comfortable! The house has the perfect cabin feel and is close to town and the park. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful location and fabulous house made for a wonderful family vacation.

House had great layout. The basement shuffleboard, foosball, & arcade game fun for all ages. Beautiful deck with hot tub & pretty views. Perfect location close to restaurants, brewery, and caves/hiking! Next visit will include Lake Logan activities. So convenient, only had to bring food and beach towels. Doug and Jane Ann were great to work with, excellent customer service and very gracious.

Beautiful big home with scenic views and wonderful owners!

Thoughtful owners who are close by for any concerns. First floor is amazing with lots of space and seating. Basement is another big gathering area. Also the huge covered deck is just perfect to enjoy the views. Close by all the Hocking Hills trails!

Great location with plenty of space!

This place was perfect for our group. Everyone in our group was able to have their own space, but there was still plenty of common space to come together. We cooked several meals in the well appointed kitchen, spent evenings outside around the fire and in the hot tub, played games in the basement, and just generally had a good time. We also appreciated how close the home was to the highway which made accessing it even easier.

family vacation

Our family enjoyed cooking and eating together in the kitchen, and game room in the basement. The lodge was close to hiking trails that all family members were able to walk on. We also enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and fire pit.
