The Boondocks Bungalow located in New Plymouth, Ohio. Renovated throughout with handmade, reclaimed wood accents and locally sourced artwork. This cottage sleeps 10 offering 2 private bedrooms, 2 full baths and well-equipped kitchen. Cozy up by the Seasonal Fireplace in the Fall or Winter and enjoy WiFi, TV, DVDs, board games or books. Rather be outdoors? Meander 18 acres of forest-covered trails. Enjoy bird watching, identify trees and flora, catch a glimpse of owl, fox or whitetail deer. Listen to bullfrogs sing by the large catch-and-release pond. Relax on the porch swing, enjoy the hot tub, or star gaze in the meadow with open-air fire pit. Secluded and quiet, an easy 10 minute drive from State Route 93, and less than 20 minutes from Route 33. Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons. Free WiFi -may experience disruptions and outages

It was a blessing to gather together for our annual fishing trip.

The pond was a gift after a day of fishing to fish a bit more. We enjoyed fishing Lake Hope, Dow Lake, Logan Lake, and the Hocking river. This location provided us a central means of travel; 30 minutes or less. The grounds were well groomed, the house clean, and a surprise visit from a raccoon as we sat around the fire-stand at night gave us something to talk about. We all enjoyed the house and the location.

Great first impression using a new lodging company!

The kids really enjoyed the arcade cabinets downstairs and the fishing was fun in the backyard pond. The amount of starter supplies was a shock to us because we have stayed at other cabins before and after the very first time we learned to always pack our own sugar, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. on this stay we packed all those things like we always have for years and didn’t need any of it! We felt taken care of in that regard.

Beautiful property.

The cabin was very comfortably decorated and clean. The property is beautiful. We will definitely stay there again and refer friends. The only small complaint was the water pressure. Thank you for a great experience.

Wonderful place for family gathering

This house has it all. From the pond, fire pit and the amazing game room there is something for everyone. We loved the spacious porch with swing and large table. I would highly recommend this cabin. It had a very well stocked kitchen and the hosts thought of everything.

it was an amazing much needed weekend getaway!

Everything was so pretty and well cleaned. The furniture and decor were something we liked a lot. Beautiful outdoor scenery as well. Tons of games to chose from and movies to watch! A lovely anniversary treat was left as well, overall best vacation experience!

Overall it was comfortable, however the pond wasn’t as stocked as I was hoping.

The owl room bed is very comfortable. The welcome book and atmosphere of the property is very welcoming.

Beautiful getaway

Everything was perfect. It is very secluded! The pond and land was beautiful. The house itself was clean, neat, and had absolutely everything you would need. Hot tub was AWESOME! This is my best trip I have ever had at hocking hills and would LOVE to make it back out!!

Perfect Serenity

My husband and I stayed 2/20/20. Beautiful place and the drive out there was amazing. The house is decorated beautifully! Rustic with some very neat decor! The property is perfect and very secluded! Pond is also lovely! Huge place and easily would sleep 5 or 6 very comfortably. The only thing I could say the whole place was missing is a Hot Tub....but they are working on that We would definitely go back! Great job Troy and Audra!

Serene getaway in the woods!

This cabin is a comfortable place to stay in an absolutely beautiful setting. It gave our family an opportunity to relax and spend time together. The pond, trails and fire pit made our time outside very enjoyable and the hot tub was a great bonus! We had a once in a lifetime experience while at the pond. A fawn walked down, got into the pond and swam across to the other side! If you are looking for a place to vacation but social distance, this is the perfect place!

Great Stay for Family

Our family of 5 loved our stay! The kids and adults loved the house and all it's furnishings. We had lots of fires and ate tons of smores. We truly enjoyed the hot tub. We fished for days but never caught any fish, but we loved all the wildlife we saw!

Boondocks bungalow

The place was goregous, the hot tub was one of the best ones we ever been in.we felt comfortable and safe especially with the convo virus 19 going on. The place was so clean. It took my worries away. Wonderful family cabin!

We really enjoyed our visit! We came with our 4 year old and 10 month old and there was plenty for them both to do! The cabin was very safe and clean for our baby and our 4 year old loved the hot tub, fishing, and swing set! We appreciated all of the extra touches such as games, movies, and kid plates/bowls/silverware. We cant wait to plan another trip to visit! Our 4 year old asked if we can come back in 6 days! Amazing!

This place sits back in a quiet peaceful area, with many things to do without even leaving the cabin! We hiked the trails that are well taken care of, fished in the pretty pond, sat in the hot tub where we saw deer at the pond, and even enjoyed each others company on the front porch swing where we watched the birds and saw wild turkeys! It is very clean, and taken care of, and felt like home away from home! We could Not ask for better hospitality!! We highly recommend, and we cant wait to go bac

Our 3yr Wedding Anniversary

Our cabin was awesome. The spaciousness, the pond, the hot tub, the fire pit the little message in the board telling us Happy Anniversary. The whole cabin was great. The only thing I didn't like was the darkness but then the stars we saw made up for that. We would definitely visit again.
